Here's a chit chat and introduction of Ishita's vision and thoughts.

Tell us a bit about Saffron Stories. How did it come to be?
How do you teach kids to love India’s robust culture? To get inspired by its differences, cherish its quirks and thrive on its myriad colours? How do we make them feel proud of their identity?
These are the questions I asked myself as a new mum. The answer was right in front of me. I decided to make a range of fun games and products centred around India that would help parents teach their little tots about the country, its culture, history, art and more. At the same time, I wanted to teach kids to ask questions and look beyond the obvious, to inspire a way of thinking that is driven by imagination and curiosity. That's how the journey of Saffron Stories came about!
Tell us a bit about the ideology behind the range of products you have/ What makes Saffron Stories products stand out?
We are a newly launched Kolkata based brand in the children’s edutainment space and are creating products to teach our young ones about our country, India in a fun and interesting manner.
All our products are suited for a range of age groups. They grow with the child and can be used differently for different ages. This ensures that the child can use and play with the same product in multiple ways for a longer duration without losing interest.
Our range of products are crafted to inspire curiosity and creativity, help our children think laterally and engage their young minds. Our products aim to take your child across the fabric of India and unveil its lush details layer by layer. We want them to fall in love with India and make them appreciate that in spite of it’s oddities, India is truly a wonderful country to grow up in!
