"In this narrative, The Phantom adopts the alias ""Towns Ellerbee"" to assist in the rescue of Ernesto Salinas, a former police chief and lucha libre wrestler from Ciudad Jardín, Mexico. Salinas is under house arrest in the authoritarian state of Rhodia, betrayed by his childhood friend Victor Batalla. Responding to a plea from Salinas's assistant, known as the Trusted Man, The Phantom intervenes to prevent the assistant from being apprehended at the Rhodian border. Together, they confront Batalla, who reveals that Salinas has been transferred to the notorious Gravelines Prison. Utilizing his position as the Unknown Commander of the Jungle Patrol, The Phantom orchestrates a daring rescue mission to liberate Salinas from the high-security facility.
