The bullies, led by brutal Tommy "Iron" Kane, extort shopkeepers, using fear to dominate Hell’s Kitchen. Meanwhile, eerie disappearances trace to a cloaked figure wielding invisibility serum stolen from a chemist’s lab. Mandrake, with Lothar’s brute strength and Narda’s nimble reconnaissance, uncovers the truth: Kane’s gang funds Dr. Elias Varn, a rogue scientist turned Invisible Man, plotting to auction the serum to mob bosses. In a fog-drenched warehouse showdown, Mandrake’s hypnotic illusions conjure phantom beasts, scattering Kane’s thugs. Narda disarms Varn’s serum injector, and Lothar shatters his cloaking device. Varn, exposed, flees into the night, serum formula lost. Mandrake leaves a hypnotic sigil on the warehouse, deterring future crime, but whispers of an unseen shadow linger.
